System Administrator

The role requires an in-depth knowledge of Backup & Recovery architectures and technology. In particular, an in depth knowledge of Veeam Backup and Recovery or Spectrum Protect.

Tasks:
- Troubleshoot stability and performance problems for Backups;
- Definition and documentation of best practice process and design;
- Install and configure Backup & Recovery hardware and software;
- Identify requirements and develop/deploy solutions for Backup environments;
- Knowledge of working for a company supporting a large number of backups;
- Strong knowledge of at least one operating system;
- Clear verbal and written communication to peers and management;
- Willingness to travel between NL and UK and globally as required.

• fluent in the English and Dutch language.

Desirable:

• Experience of Veeam Backup and Replication;
• Experience of Spectrum Protect administration;
• Knowledge of client operating systems Windows/RHEL/Solaris;
• Knowledge of VMWare.
